All are basically the same. The more expensive they get, the more range of controls you get, the easier to access those controls, the larger the LCD and the more megapixels the camera has. The 350d is a low-end camera. be fooled by entry-level. There is no such thing as a dSLR for beginners. IF you can afford more, go for it.

Unless this is the best you can afford steer clear of this. The 350 was an interesting entry level model of the day but build quality sucked and it lacked essential features. 20k is a LOT for such a camera.
If you insist on an old model canon see about getting a 450. If you insist on a cheap used camera see if you can find a nikon D50.

Depends on your usage really.
Do you need 8 megapixels or will 6 do?
had a 350D and one thing notice is that really tiny, compared to the 20D/10D or even to the 300D. If you have big hands, you might want to consider the 10D instead for of handling.

Another thing to take note of is the full metal body of the 10D is great but will you be using it in situations that require the durability?

I believe that the of the 350D should also be better then the almost instantaneous.

Finally, it might be tough to get your hands on a new 10D whereas the 350d should still be readily available.

It is a perfectly good camera to learn with, and it is capable of taking fantastic photos. 8 Mp out of that camera will beat the pants off any point and shoot at 16mp.

If that shutter count is correct, that is nothing to worry about. It should be good for many more than that.

A dSLR will always give you a clearer photos compared to a little point and shoot because its sensor is much larger. It does better generally in low light condition too.

A dSLR can have its lens (easily) removed and you can replace it as quickly with another. A point and stuck with one.

I'm a Clinical Rotations Student, and one of my sites has been in the Emergency Room.
When i was there, i did not see anything on this subject, but i can tell you that, when you come into the emergency room, say, maybe because of a gunshot wound, and you need help right away, E.R nurses, E.R physicians, EMTS, EMS, will strip you down completly, because they need to check you from head to toe. I think they care what clothes you are wearing, what kind of underwear you have on, what color it is, etc, sure a nurse or staff may compliment you, but some just do it jokingly, and try to make conversation. But honestly, they are more worried about saving your life, than if you have underwear on. But i believe it does happen once in a while that men come in with underwear, but what the staff does in the emergency room is look at it, and move on to saving your life.

A middle-aged or elderly immigrant with little English and no job skills in demand has little chance of living here as an economically self-supporting person. We should restrict family visas to spouses and minor children. All other family members and everyone else should apply under a unified point system that assesses age, education, job and language skills. Other than spouses, refugees, and asylees, every adult immigrant should demonstrate that he or she is likely to become a self-supporting person.

The problem is that you don't know how to use a DSLR camera. Time to buy and read a basic book about DSLR photography.

The very basic instruction books that come with DSLR cameras assume that you at least know what shutter speed is (which is what you are changing with Tv mode). I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but the only way you are going to get out of the noob stage and understand how to use a DSLR camera is to read a couple books about DSLR cameras and how they work.

I hate to burst your bubble, but photography is just like everything else in life…if you want to be good at it you have to learn about it first.
